These seem to be the bee's knees in sunglasses. My friend who was a pilot in the Canadian Air Force swears by them. He said that you could drive through a rainstorm with no wipers working and still see clearly.

I think you may be in a minority. I wear sunglasses when its sunny and I will only wear quality ones. Even here in the UK youd be surprised at the damage UV rays can do to your eyes.
