Hi!!!............i recently acquired a 1998 hilux ssr-x(i think) with the intercooled 1-kz engine........as the title says........i want more power......dont get me wrong im not ungrateful with the 1kz's bountiful low end torque............but i need top end grunt..........where i live(jamaica) there is a lot of hills and low end just doesnt cut it when i need to overtake or reach home quickly
...........is there a chip or tuner or something i can use to boost power over the whole rpm range???........im sorry if its a repeat question but i scoured the forum( yes, i used search) and didnt see a topic.....
