Happy New Year to everyone. Been away in Scotland visiting friends and family the last week and a bit, so while I'm sure there have been plenty of these threads before, I missed them. So what's everyone been up to?
Managed to find ourselves at a friend's house in the Scottish Borders for Hogmanay. We'd brought the Surf for the occasion, and had the pleasure of being the only car that could cross the deep ford to the house, and then the only one that could pull the cars out of the snow in the car parks on the 1st. Here's a clip of a video taken on the morning of the 1st (run at 3x real speed to keep it interesting)

Been doing a bit more work on the Surf, including fitting a simple snorkel, and a roof tent that we bought off ebay (thanks animal and gwh200 for offers of help getting it to us). That's where we spent the night of the 31st:
The next night we drove the length of Scotland, and slept just outside Ullapool, before crossing to Lewis for a couple of days with friends. All in all a great trip
