  • I’m so glad I own a big gas guzzling, anti social 4X4

Left home at 5:50 this morning and drove to the Railway Station to see if the trains were running only to find it locked up and no signs life, no train drivers, station Staff, no one.... . so I drove into work.... roads empty with several abandoned cars stuck at funny angles. Made good time and got in for 6.45 am... think I’m going to be on my own today.

Went out to get some petrol yesterday only to find the road blocked by pathetic drivers in their eco friendly 2-wheel drive cars...... stuck it in 4L and cut across the grass verges back home. Went out 3 hours later and filled up, but there were still people crawling along and sliding all over the place.

The Surf really works well in 4x4 with those General grabber AT2’s, well pleased
Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

The Surf is the only reason half of the people that work here got home last time it snowed badly in January / February!!

        Gotta love it!

what makes me laugh is all those people who have been fed bullxxxx about global warming being caused by gas guzzling 4x4 by the eco mentalists media government and scientists who are funded by governments so that they can push for a carbon tax.
bet they wish now that they had kept there 4x4 and not the silly little cars that they have been pressurised into by the aforementioned

a few years ago when we had chaos down here with the snow.i took the back roads home and the cars that were struggling to get up the hills and as i was waiting for a car to move i was asked if i could give a lift to a couple. As we were driving up the road they said they were always against 4x4's but as i had helped them and the others they asked refused they said that they were going to change their opinions of 4x4's in the future

recycling is something that our parents and grandparents did in the war its not new we should not be wasting recources and I hate to see wasting anything. but these so called environmentalists take things too far and would not be happy until we are all ludites. if that is the life style that they choose then fine but they should not try to force it on anyone else just to jusify there own choices.
they are giving governments the excuse they need to tax us by making environmentalism trendy and the biggest joke is that most of these hippies/environmenalists opt out so they are not the ones in line for environmental taxes

Just got back on Monday after dragging the 'caravan' up to the Lakes for New year. Had eight memorable days in the white stuff, had to drag it thru uncleared 'B' roads, ruts and all! We never once felt in any way shape or form that we wouldn't be able to cope. It snowed nearly every day. Power to the 'Surf'!
