  • 2" body lift-info needed please

Im thinking of doing the 2" body lift in the summer (if it ever gets here lol!) and was wandering what dimensions the kit involves/includes. As i work for a engineering/fastener company getting hold of the bolts and fabing up some spacers won`t be a prob just want to know what diameter they need to be (before u all say it they will need to be 2" long!!) and how long the bolts need to be .Ive already read-up on the procedure and know i need 10 and at least need to alter the rad.
    any info v much appeciated,
    thanx pete

Did you manage to fab up some lift kit?

My work has a few good fitters and fabircators so i was thinking of getting them to make me up something to lift the surf.

What did you use for spacers? I'm thinking just steel. shouldn't be a problem ?

Also. the gear stick mod? is this a must do job?

          thanks for any info.

on a 2" lift you shouldn't have to lengthen the hi/lo lever at all but you may just have to cut a bit of the rubber shroud off to make sure the lever goes into hi and lo ratio ok

Nylon or ally are the norm , the stearing column need to be loosened and retightened as well (bumper drop brackets and rad drop brackets)

a ready made kit is available from www.outrageousoffroad.co.uk
