heres a list of prices from roughtrax

you can do it yourself or supersurf is in mutley Plymouth and has his own garage and he'll probably do it for you cheaper than toyota

cheers mate, be good to have some one with some know how.

but the 2.4 is tempting with all the new bits. but 3.0L does seem a safer option

                        cheers storm

I think this will make it a little easyer: I have agreed these prices with the owners.

3.0: tax feb - mot mar - £1100/ L reg/65m away in st austal/Nil SH/ ends in 8 hrs, and is already at £750, so i think he will exceed my agreed price?

                        2.4: tax feb - mot sep - £1400/ k reg/102m away in portished/FSH/new tyres,rad,thermostat,water pump. ends in 3 days?

at the end of the day it seems to me (being new to surfs) that the 3l is more reliable and more mpg, but in this case just seems a bit tatty.

but the deciding factor here is when i get the cash for my terrano and what is avalible.

thanks for keeping a look out fellas and advice, opinions, experiance always welcome

I'll keep an eye out for anything for you Dan that looks reasonable. Most of the roads down this end are blocked with abandoned cars due to a couple of inches of snow.Truro is completely shut off as there's jacknifed lorries .Just give a shout if you want me still to look at anything for you

                            almost there

                            Hi team

Well going up to bristol in a bit to look at the 2.4 with FSH, the 3.0l in cornwall went for 1227 ish, but the seller rang me saying if i can get down there before monday its mine for 1100, sounds a bit odd, says he needs it shifted before mon and the guy who won cant get down till tue.

I'd be well pi%%ed off if a seller did that to me.

so could be a new surf member tonight, do i have to pay to register on this club, i paid a £10 to join www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com, brill site workshop manuals the lot, but have to say this place seems pretty good so far.

                            dan

its £15 membership here but its not compulsary to be a paid up member.Thats does sound a bit suss that it sold for £1,131.00 and offer it to you for £31 less than it was won.I would ask for more than that if he wanted it gone by Monday.i reacon he had someone bidding on it for him as it went to £1000 and then on the last second up to the finish price
