hi evaryone, im in helston in cornwall. wondering if there are any other members in the same area? i know a couple of spots to go offroad if anyone fancies it? also...has anyone dricen in europe? i was thinking of driving to egypt in a couple of years. although this could change as i'm tahing the family and wanted to camp along the way to save funds! looking at a trip lasting roughly a month!!! european driving advice etc would be great thanks!

hi mate, thanks, there are a few bits i need to do to my truck to get it up to scratch!! first is the speedo doesn't work so thats the priority... i need to get the back window working ( its moving and making noises but i think its something bent) also would like some plastic window fenders??? if you have any of these that'd be great!! let me know. also i found a pay to drive off-road facility in portreath, have you tried it??? cheers

hi again, mine is a 2.4 manual! if you have anything that might help let me know as i'd be greatful! what is yours??? i,ve owned 2 surfs... the first was a auto regretted getting rid so here we are 12 months later with another lol. this one wont be going anywhere for a while!! try www.cornwall4x4.co.uk £30 for 1/2 hour if you use there landy but is says call for reduced rates if you use your own vehicle as they are fully insured! cheers

Forget that mate you want to get your self over to Baldhu and its £10 for a day.Its a great site for playing.
I got a lifted black 3.0l.I have got plenty of spares going so if you want to come over sometime and see what you want and it can be fitted at the same time

hi mate, thanks for your response i,ve seen a red/grey one in fourlanes with business stickers up the side alot, i'm a bus driver so always see it in my way to redruth! will keep my eyes open for yours!! do you know any good places to go off road? i was just telling stormy about www.cornwall4x4.co.uk might give it a try i only know a couple of small places but still fun. what truck have you got? 2.4 3.0, manual/auto??? have you done any mods to it? cheers

Baldhu? i've never heard if this place?? tell me more i've heard of a place near bissoe... but i cant seem to find out any more about it? where abouts in camborne are you? i'm over that way often visiting family your truck sounds nice, i'dlike to see that!

The off road place is the one your on about near Bissoe but i've always known it as Baldhu.You come from Carnon Downs garden centre and carry on driving for about 2m.There is a sign for Baldhu and the turning will be on the left.Right opposite that turning is a Bridlepath.Go down the Bridlepath about 200 yds and theres some metal conatainers on the left its in there through the double gates
I'm in Pengegon and the workshop is nr Hayle

do you mean if i'm driving through carnon downs i turn off for the garden centre (junction opposite the old petrol stn) then follow that road for about 2miles?? thanks mate! when are they open and do you know any more details?
i know hayle quite well... where in hayle is your workshop and how often are you there? cheers
