can anyone tell me what size and how many bolts i need for tow bar ?

cant remember the size but i do remember make sure they are they correctly rated ones,not just any old bolts so to speak

Thread hijack -

Are there bolts made that have pins through them that are strong enough to mount the tow bar, but easy enough to take off when going offroading?.....so all that's left is the two horizontal bars that mount to the chassis (3rd gen)..?

...any thoughts?....thanks

thats what i were going to do.but mine has a 5" plus lift.so would have to buy one of them landrover drop plates.
only going to use it to tow my suzuki sj to events.

Halfords will stock them, or anywhere that towing accessories are sold.

Hi guys,

Those bolts are for the tow BALL to tow BAR.
Not the tow BAR to the chassis, if that's what
your asking. Tow bars must be securly (sp) bolted
to the chassis frame, so you cannot have pins thru
them for easy removal of the tow bar, but removable
drop plates are OK (I think).
