i have about 3 hi-viz vests and coats, a pair of safety boots, some old newspapers and mcdonalds wrappers to build a bonfire (warmth and warning!), pens to do the crossword before burning, gloves, confiscated kids toys (from miss slug!) and a phone charger...

maybe i should stick a pask of elastoplast in the glovebox?
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

all extinguishers have a best by date as such and by law have to be tested before that date experes or the extinguisher has to be emptied and then refilled etc at extra expence.I used to have to sort out the extinguishers in the 2 networkrail depots before i was laid off and there were something like 140 ish of them to check and make sure all in date etc

Well I just nicked the 20 year old extinguisher out of the caravan and self tappered it into the wife's truck.
I'm not carrying one, but I'm 'ard and from London, so I don't need one.

if its a vehical powder one then its probably packed down into a hard lump and wo'nt work anyway.Vehicle co2 or foam ones are best but they don't last long enough to put out a good engine fire , and one big enough to do the job properly needs a seat on its own.

IMO the majority of exinguishers that most have in their motors are too small and inefective, having put out just a few vehicle fires in my time
Did I mention I have a BLUE one
