Spotlights

I know this sounds pathetic but... whats the best way to wire up some spots? I can bolt 'em on the bars but how would you wire 'em? Also, are there any reasonabley priced ones that can be recommended? God help me if I ever need to change the head or something major!!!

I took the cowards way out and bought a made up cable and harness unit from Roughtrax and if a numpty like me can fit it then it must be easy !

still had it checked by the garage though !

def go with what john said as for lights,dont be tempted by cheapie ebay ones,they will rust,

OK thanks boys..will have a look at wot roughtrax has to offer As much as i love my newly aquired i also freeckin' just love this forum ....you lot rock!!

I tend to rock a bit but thats when i forget my tablets
go for a decent set of spotties, some of the ebay so called stainless steel ones rust out in no time, dunno how much the prewired set is from roughtrax but their easy enough to wire, depends what wattage bulbs you intend useing, but for safty's sake and should you want to upgrade em to a higher wattage i'd wire the main runs via a 40 amp relay (each light) useing 3mm heavy duty cable, and the relay switched side in any cable (1.5 etc) take a feed from the high beam circuit and through a switch so you van switch em off anytime ya want, if you nees help with the relay give us a shout,
