Veg oil rip off

I have been using BioDiesel from Morrisons for a while as i dont have the time to go to the Whole salers yet.

When i did have some i used 60D / 40V and it seemed all ok even with some of the cold snaps we have been getting.

Had to revert to SVO this week @99.5% (10 ltrs Veg)+ half litre 4 star n (20 ltrs Veg) 1 litre 4 star n no Problems !!

There's always a Payback .. Cos ya don't know where n ya never know when !!

Well lads ive found a Chinese food bulk buy shop that sells 20 liter of veg oil for 18 euro (£15.73). What do you think? Is that a good deal?

works out; Its 1.15 a liter for diesel so 20 liters is 23 euro

20L veg oil - 18 euro
20L diesel - 23 euro not bad eh?

Think i'l chuck 20L of the veg oil in the tank tomorrow & the same in diesel & see how it goes. Do you lot think a 50/50 mix would be ok?

Well i'l find out what the veg oil is like tomorrow coz im going to stick in a few liters & see how it goes. Say maybe 50/50 veg oil diesel mix?
Wouldn't damage the engine would it? Im still a bit paranoid about actually putting veg oil in my truck, seems wacky.
