Ahem... It's 602 miles from my house to here. The last 100 miles from Glasgow to Oban are torturous. At least 2 hours, up to 3 if you get stuck behind a tourist. And it may be a 3.0 litre but on these roads it handles like q garden shed.

It's only 500 or so to my place which is where the booze is !

And I'm familiar with the road from Oban to Glasgow as I made the mistake of taking the long crossing once - personally I think the drive from Glasgow to Uig is much worse !
