It's only, 500 miles or so - are you driving a 2.4 or something ?

I managed the 640 miles from Benbecula to Reading in a clapped out 1300 Cortina in 16 hours - and that was including the ferry !

Ahem... It's 602 miles from my house to here. The last 100 miles from Glasgow to Oban are torturous. At least 2 hours, up to 3 if you get stuck behind a tourist. And it may be a 3.0 litre but on these roads it handles like q garden shed.
