I like christmas, sort of.

Don't like the fake bullsh1t associated with it, people trying to out-do the Joneses by buying the kids whatever they want & the bombardment of Tv ads using the 'xmas spirit' as an excuse to brainwash kids into wanting everything they see.

I do like the atmosphere during xmas week (not the 1st of december onwards). The fact that you get to drink more beer & eat lots n lots of stuff.

And of course the Christmas dinner. Turkey with bacon strps, honey glazed ham, stuffing, roast/mashed potatoes, yorkshire pud, mushy peas, roast parsnip/carrots, cranberry sauce, real gravy & sprouts.

I thought the 12 days of Christmas refers to the 12 day period between 25th of December and the 6th of January (Epiphany).

Agree with that George n then another 12 weeks or more of Summer Holiday advertising, Easter,Whitsun advertising, Mothers day advertising, Fathers day advertising etc etc etc
