Whats the general opinion on homemade snorkels?

Are they ok or do you think I should buy one?

i made my own snorkel from 68mm downpipe from b&q all in all it cost less than £20 and only took me and animal around 2 hours to do, it works a treat had water up over the bonnet the other night without any problems

On a more professional level, TJM and Safari snorkels....

Safari on our truck, TJM on the red one.

I've got to ask Tony, Is it me being stupid or are you missing the front diff / driveshafts there.. ?

yeah, someone needed a front diff and I didn't have one, so Linda's truck donated its till I got another one to put back in hers.

I like how Judwaks goes along the wing rather than inside it. Someone here did a stainless one on a Landcruiser which looked brilliant.
