Happy Christmas ?

Been waiting for the date for minor surgery on my heart and finally got a date . 22nd of December . Nice Chrimbo present ? Do I go for it and spend most of Christmas in bed or cancel and spend Christmas down the pub as usual . I know which option I want .... PUB !!
Thing is if I cancel when will I get the op next ? Another 4 month wait or longer ?

Any input would be good .

By the way Tam says if they can find a heart in me it would be a ###### good start .

Have the OP mate. I know easy for me to say sitting here I would dread going in for any type of surgery I just had my heel injected with steroid I was S*****G a brick then. If you go I hope all goes well and as said have Christmas after.
BTW are you going to the Q and E ? You may come out with some Flu bug knowing that place Anyway I can remember your last Christmas party, you will be safer in Hospital...

Not going to Q E hospital , going to Papworth .
I had lumber puncture before and also quortazone (?) injection in my slipped disc before so thats why I hate hospitals.
I got my sister , bro in law and kids coming up for Christmas so thats another reason I was thinking of cancelling op .
Had an idea about getting taken down the pub on sack barrow I have got . It has pnumatic tyres for a soft ride !! Ratchet strap for a seat belt and my bro in law wont get knicked for drink driving .
