I went there today to stock up for a winter serves next week. Nice lads they made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend.

Is red anti freeze supposed to be the best?

It has the longest lifespan. Five years. Green is three years and blue is two. Green and red are far better than blue, however, as they have better anti-corrosion properties. In all other regards than the lifespan, red and green are pretty much equal, if I recall. Red won't mix with different colours, however, whereas the others will.

Use the same colour that's in there already . Unless you flush the system and start afresh.

Ta, I was round at the mechanics today, we checked how much anti-freeze I had in. (to minus 16)
He said best to flush it out and start again with red anti-freeze.
I just agreed (but wondered why red)
