My sat nav feeds me sandwiches, rolls me fags and reads a map......
Its got this way of changing its voice when giving overdue directions as well and has a built in anti crash warning device, it grabs your arm and braces itself for impact after waking from a doze and starts swearing at the top of it's voice.
                  Love her to bits tho'
                  Remember arrows are silent.....................
Don't forget to tell everyone its indestructable as seen on top gear.......

either - i cant decide whether to get an iphone ( which i was considering anyway ) and use the tom tom software and cradle to use the iphone as a sat nav or to buy a stand alone sat nav

                      any thoughts gretaly appreciated

                      Regards,

I've had Tom Tom on my old Nokia N73 for the last two years. Downloaded it for nitzy , and never had any probs with it. Great bit of kit.
Other than that, I would probably advise going for the iPhone with the Tom Tom software........Why have a stand alone unit that you have to either carry around with you, or hide in the car, when you can have it on your phone that you take with you anyway?.................

                        Mark

                        If it ain't sunk.....it ain't junk.

I've got a Navman. Does exactly what is says on the box, no gimmicks, no stupid 'celebrity' voices, clear graphics not those cartoon drawings, just enter a postcode or address and follow the directions.
