refitting wind deflectors

whats the best kinda tape to use to refit used wind deflectors?
The original tape/adhesive is very good as it takes some going to remove it from the door frame.

i meant maybe a more specialised tape, as im thinking standard double sided wont last very long in rain, wind, etc..

Bog standard foam type will be fine. The reason the old stuff is such a bitch to remove and appears different is just due to the fact that it has hardened and such with age and U.V exposure.

Just doing the same miself, Sparks and get some double sided from the local motor factors the same as is a b*tch to get off. What did you use to remove it BTW? Fingernail?

i find the black double sided tape used for sticking on car body insignia very good ,i usually get it from halfords.

didnt bother in the end and sold it
