sellers who decide that slagging off the 2.4 is good advertising practice for their 3.0l really annoy me, but thats just me being petty.
It's not being petty. Wouldn't be so bad if he'd even got it right. When was the last gasket failure on a 2.4? Plus the fact that he mentions the 1KZ series being a LC engine. The 2L series is too.
On another positive note, if the condition of the vehicle justifies the price then im sure your getting a nice clean surf with plenty of life left in it.
No point in paying a few hundred quid for a piece of sh1t, that needs hundreds put into it to bring it up to scratch. Enjoy!
well done, just make sure everything is as described on it b4 u take it,def check back window works, take a test drive make sure it doesnt overheat .and enjoy, nice colour tbh,not many silver ones
the replies from people on this are already making me laugh!
she lloks good mate. im not a fan of all the decals but i would happily own her.
one tip i can think of when you go pick her up is make sure the AIR CON WORKS!
blow it on cold for a while THEN put the air con on and see if it gets colder.
dont just go by the little green light that pops up when you press the button!
i got done by that years ago when i bought my BMW 325I.
oh and im glad you liked the "idea" it had been looked after mechanically! that made me laugh lol.
Yeah it took me 32 hours to drive there last summer without sleep and 48 hours back with a break in poland. In a much, much faster car and possibly not always keeping to the recommended speed.
I do not regret doing it but, definitely won't be doing that again.
Those forrests and fields: I just got them for a bargain price just when the recession started. The field is quite uneven and soft, the forrest is a mix of birch and pine, but is swampy/damp in places so requires good clearance and planning. also getting into said forest can be tricky and therefore fun.
But also there are plenty of unused paths in the wilder bits of lithuania so there are plenty of fun challenges.

I had the same thing happen with a used bmw 330, thanks for the tip!
as about the "idea", the thing is anyone can say they have really looked after their car and spent hundereds on maintenance, but you have to decide whether you believe the seller or not. Quite often, you need to buy the seller rather than the car.
Hi mate at the end off the day as long as your happy with what you paid and what you got HAPPY motoring, i cant even buy one from Japan for that price.
Personally I'd be asking for receipts for parts and servicing, and having a damn good look at everything visible rather than buying the seller.
Having said that, it's not *that* overpriced if it really is very tidy and well looked after, and it fills me with hope that I might get more than £30 for mine if I do decide to go the 3rd gen route
