Cam belt change

Is there a write up anywhere I could probably manage without but would be safer to have a read first, seeing as I never changed one on a surf before. Oh and before you all start slating me yes I have tried the search facility but can't find one. Thanks guys oh and girls

If your re using your old tensioner, i found that to get the piston back in you have to compress and wait then compress again and wait, repeat till its right in and slip smal allen key in the holes to hold it back.
If you try and compress it all in at once it resists like buggery...
not that i know what buggery is......
Oh and when its in and you pull out the pin get ready for some epic swearing if like me you jam your knuckles into the rad and slice them to bits....

Nah I bought the roughtrax kit along with the other 3 belts, 2 top ball joints, 2 bottom ball joints, 2 drop links and a poly bush roll bar kit.

Sorry bout that phantom, the one i downloaded did not have a password.
And once on me laptop was handy to chuck laptop under bonnet and read straight from it.
Forgot about the one on codlords site seen that ages ago, its a direct link with no need to download.
Should be a sticky in the 3.0 Turbo Diesel section hint hint.
