I don't understand what's going on there? Have the scratches been fixed and you're now overpainting them with some design?

I think it's the masking that's confusing me, I thought airbrushing was a freehand thing (or are Mr Coddington and Mr Foose taking the mickey?).
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

That's why I'm asking, I always thought Airbrushing was a totally freehand art form. I didnt realise there was overspray that would merit masking.

That was a bit cruel? But thanks for putting me right with regards the masking.

Can't see the pics in your post BDT.

Ignore them - you live an learn an you're bound to come across miserable jealous gits in you life. You are learning so go for it, though I do think you get a kick out of setting yourself up for abuse.

fair point,i will explain a little, using basic colours i can airbrush at between 10/15 psi,and reduce my paint to near as 100%,with a 0.3mm tip, with the pearl im having to do it at 40 psi with a 0.6mm tip so in a nut shell lots of overspray, plus with it being a pearl it will only take the smallest amount for it to show, the amp i just did was 90%freehand
