Just a warning...

A noise started at the front of the engine yesterday and sounded like a dry bearing so beings i hav'nt changed the timing belt etc i decided to do so to day. And found this, how lucky am i.




So, if you have not changed yours and dont know when it last was...get it done, its cheeper in the long run.

Foe the sake of a few pounds, I'd always change the belt and tensioner ASAP after buying a Surf.

i never just do belt,just put all oem stuff on mine with head

There was a guy on Elite recently that had the same thing happen to him aswell.He was very lucky as he had just done an engine swap aswell so it would of cost him twice in the end
