This is why i'm $hit scared of dentists, had a bad time there in the past, it's only the pain that'll drive me there now, soddin butchers, ya'd think in this day and age they be able to do your teeth without pain, guess they lost more patience's than they cured in the old days

ian,mine were done at hospital,and tbh im well impressed,aslong as you can cope with the general anesthetic,u dont know a thing about it,im just glad its over ps u have that thread now mate

anesthetic dont work on me or my dad all the rest in ower famarly are ok on them
just me and mi dad dont know what an anesthetic should feel like
its a problem coz noone beleaves you untill they give you an anesthetic
and then what?
they say
''cant give you anything else mr walker you had 2 anesthetic already''
why you no hear what i said in the first place?
thats why i dont like dentist's nowt they got works
hostpitals take too long in finding out anesthetic's dont work
and its on my records too
can you beleave that
well i will have to shut up coz one of them thats treated me is in deep poo

tryed em all before
i mostly have to tonk gas and air like mad for about 5-10 mins
of 10 mil of morphine then gas and air depends on what iam having dont
iam in need of a dentist too but mi last one wont see me again
too much hard work
i have to go miles to this specialist who can make my whole head go numb
and he has to work quike
i find it very strange that not much works and if it dose work its not for long
makes ya feel a bit at times

i had 3 teeth - wisdoms- pulled out under local
took the dentist over 2 hours, horrible experience

anyone can shut mouth and blow out nose ? so whats the problem?

nothing just that im doing it thru the hole from a tooth,it will heal up so im told lol

I had my wisdom teeth out by a dentist who done work on the side in his attic. I was in so much pain I had to go to someone.
He said it would cost me the equivilent of 2 quid, or did I have a Hilti to fix his chair down properly. It took him an hour to pull one, and that he had to crumble to bits with pliers. I'm a big boy but that day I nearly cried my 'kin eyes out.

I can sympathise with that!! hospital or dentist, their still in ya mouth and i dont like em! the worst time was yeasrs ago, i had an abcess (?) in a back tooth and it was hurting so much i asked him to just do it as i couldn't stand it any longer, i had "gas" and then they had to have a doctor present to administer it, i'm sure i was only semi concious as i felt the rubber bung being pulled out (they used to stick this rubber thing between ya teeth so your gob was open when you went "out" felt him knock my front teeth with the pliers or whatever and then the pain started, never felt anything like it before or since, it seemed to turn to sounds and colour's and swirl round, next thing i knew i was on my back in the chair (my back was on the seat bit) shirt covered in blood, ba$tard really hurt me, hated em ever since, also had a bad time with a wisdom tooth, they actually put me out (injection) but i came round before they'd got it out, they injected it all over the place and although i didn't feel owt then the next day hurt like hell, split the corner of my mouth trying to get at this dam tooth,
