I have only done 4 Lbs (in old money) of pickled onions this year. 4 Lbs of gherkins, 6Lbs of Quince Jelly, 6Lbs of tomato chutney and some spicy pickle with the leftover, end of season apples, marrow, onions, runner beans, garlic, green tomatos, a couple of big spoonfuls of Madras curry powder and some currants and raisins that had been lurking in the cupboard. My mum gave me two jars of home made piccalilly and two big jars of pickled eggs. It's gonna be dangerous around here.
