Your response doesn't hold water with me I'm afraid.
Paying for professional kit thats been imported not manufactured. Supertrux are just an outlet.
People who sell their trucks with the lift kits fitted, want more for them because they've emptied their pockets to pay for it and want to claw some of the costs back thats all!

You can't really, no matter how you swing it, justify the costing of that kit. Running a business is one thing, but that's just a tad, (understatement), over the top if it is just body blocks, drop brackets and fixings.

Its quite simple really for them

thats the price - you want - you pay
          you dont - so long

its like when i do a quote, it you want me to do the work, thats my price, simples

sure you can get cheaper, but I wont be doing it...

Do you charge a good rate or over the top though? I personally couldn't care how much they charge, but I do believe in charging a reasonable amount and not silly money. All part of having a conscious instead of being purely money obsessed, I suppose. But, as you say, if people are willing to pay that money, then it's theirs to charge if they wish.

              Exactly!

No-one forces you to use them, and despite my appearing to defend them, all I was doing was pointing out that a tax-paying business does have overheads so wont be as cheap as 'your mate down the road with a lathe in his shed'

As far as a workforce 'making your money', yes obviously when your speaking literally, but a workforce is designated a 'cost'. Why do you think workforce numbers is the very first thing to be cut when times are hard???

Hey Vince, didn't know they are a re-seller rather than a manufacturer. However, BPS's statement still holds water. Daft enough to pay megabucks for some aluminium blocks, so be it.

Business is business. A 'fair price' is whatever the buyer will pay.

Doesn't alter the fact that a truck that was worked on by L.A.S left there workshop in a state that makes it almost unfit for the road..

It isn't the first story i've heard.. an i'm 100% certain it wont be the last.

Can't quite see why its shot anything down? Not taking any sides at all but at the moment theres one person saying 'shoddy work was done' and a company saying 'of course not. We never do shoddy work' which is exactly the response you would expect whether they had or handt screwed up.

Inconclusive without more proof I would say.
