Antenna design, and indeed RF physics is really interesting - and a slightly black art. It *should* appeal to the 'real' engineers out there

I have Mk2 of the log periodic in the workshop at the moment. Just received the Tufnol sheet today to make proper mounts and insulators out of. Then it's into a chamber at work with it to measure gain / radiation pattern etc, and assuming decent performance it's off to eBay and about £35-£40 a pop
