Had a look inside one at the NEC recently, and we were very impressed!

Prices start at around 45k for a complete two/three bed house, land is around £1000 per acre in Pembrokshire at the moment.

Sell up, buy some land, at least four or five acres, to use as either caravan storage (good income per annum) or as an all year round self catering log cabin business, what you think?

Absolutely, the prices are just for a ready to move into house. Services would be extra and the houses we saw are moveable/crane-able as they come ready assembled and furnished, plus central heating, on a chassis that just need a dwarf wall built around them rather than concrete slab foundations..
they're even cheaper if you buy them in kit form for self assembly.
Done the maths and we could be set up for under 100k and no mortgage.

First step is to secure a deal on some land which needs to be easily accessed by road and have significant boundaries, i.e tall hedges/trees water etc.

I looked at Finlog a while ago, was going to park one in Islay. But me and the then she parted company, so that fell through.

They do look like good VFM and I like your all year round SC thinking. I'd do the storage things in a corner too, for an extra acre it would pay for its self in a few weeks.
