I agree. And while we're at it we can eradicate dogs to remove the Toxocariasis risk.

Thats the idea yes, better than taking a shot at 300m and risk injuring it so that it takes 3 days to die.

So it's OK for you to shoot a caged fox for fun, but it's not OK for the fox to follow its natural instinct to kill?

Do you wear camouflage gear and black your face out when you're shooting it? The biggest threat to chickens around here is children, should I suggest trapping and shooting them too?

No I would never shoot or cause suffering to any animal for fun, you have not read all of my posts correctly.
No I do not wear camouflage gear or black my face out.
No you should not suggest trapping and shooting children, children should be taught.
I have stood on the roof of the Royal Albert Hall at 2am and watched fox's walking up and down Kensington high street in theire droves, I have also stood outside the entrance to the SECC and watched them walk past on the pavement. There is a need to cull in cities as well as the country side.

Believe me Andy there is nothing that pleases me more than watching a Vixen with her cubs, or being at my yard at midnight and listening to a dog fox calling his vixen. As long as they are not creating havoc in my paddock they can live in peace.
And no my Mutt does not kill chickens, only rats and rabbits.

There's a joke in the above quote somewhere involving Apache, his missus and a load of kinky boots.
