Hilarious comment. I'm always amazed, and I've seen it a few times recently, when a defendant's sole argument seems to be "you have to understand I was ####ed, m'lord." If I was a judge (and it's probably a good thing I'm not), that would tempt me to be even harsher than usual, not more lenient.

That said I imagine many judges feel exactly the way he does, but are more reserved about saying it.
