Anyone else going to the Caravan show?
I'll be there tomorrow. Just thought I'd ask, you never know. PM me if you wish to remain anonymous!

Looking forward to see that new 'Stealth' caravan.

Without wishing to prejudice the issue (much)

The Stealth is apparently expensive, heavy, ill thought out, poorly assembled and UGLY !!!!!!

The Bailey Pegasus is apparently a genuine step forward.

        PS
We won't be going - no free tickets !

Saw the stealth, first impressions.......Looks very strange, like the black front end has been glued onto a Bailey, and the rear LED lights look crap when they're not illuminated!
Pretty good concept though, but having no front and rear windows would take a lot of getting used to, I mean, which way would 'round would you park it??

Give it a couple of years and I'll think it'll be improved mainly due to feedback for the show.

Best 'van on display, for us anyway, was the Coachman Pastiche 545/4. £22,000.It was like the penthouse suite at the Savoy inside!

Anyway, anorak off now, back to the usual shit!

Nah, I can never remember how many Cs are in the acronym, so I figure too many is better than too few?

                      Yep

be there saturday - even going in teh surf (wife's Saab off the road at min). The Stealth doesn't do it for me but I want a look around the new Bailey pegasus's - especially like the idea of no exterior screw holes although our 3 year old Compass Omega is brill for now

I didn't get to the show but when I dropped our Bailey Virginia off at Chichester Caravans for a service at dark o'clock this morning I blagged a look round the only Bailey Pegasus they had (The others are on the way back from the NEC).

I must admit that I was rather impressed - this one HASN'T had hordes of rubberneckers walking through it (In fact it was kept locked cos they haven't had time to remove all the nickable bits that usually go missing !)

The finish was very good and they seem to have made genuine improvements in some of the areas that we were irritated with. It'll have to wait a while though - our Virginia's only 2 years old and the kids are consuming funds like they're going out of fashion !
