For those at the Wales run last weekend, this is the truck I was talking about, parked next to a pre-MOT-cleaned Surf. Twelve tons of 'merkin pride.

Perhaps I'll nick Mark's idea and go with zebra stripes over white

here's a better angle on the Surf v Husky size thing.

And here's what just turned up for me to play with this afternoon. It's on a 4x4 chassis build like a brick shithouse, solid axles and leafs front and rear, auto box, three lockers, crew cab and all that space at the back but no wider than a Surf! PERFECT expedition truck anyone?

It's really narrow. Looks odd from the front, but its narrow for a reason so it can squeeze through gaps in trees etc to reach downed planes etc. (It's an airforce rescue fire truck)
