Ermm Jim's a fruitcake, he's driven down to Poland for a long weekend, hes gone back and then up to the arctic circle and back to Belfast in a week (not bad for a classic 2wd Panda), and he's also driven a Fiat Multipla across the centre of the States this year !Look out Eastbourne, the Pandas are coming !

He was delivering it to a museum in Tennessee, they have an original one.Originally posted by greecysurf View PostBrave man, fiat multipla,
The previous year he took a brand new 500 over and they brought it off him, I don't think Fiat were too impressed at the time, as they had no presence in the US at the time !!!
Now they borrow it from the museum and take with with a new LHD drive one for advertising.
Nearly all his runs are for a charity in northern Ireland, and he is sponsored

I love driving, we used to have one big holiday a year, 3 weeks in the states, we just pick up a hire car and go, it got so that Hertz would not let me do unlimited milage, picked up a Ford Mustang with 278 miles on the clock, took it back with 8781 miles on it, they were not impressed, had to start using holiday autos,Originally posted by That Ruddy Squirrel View PostHe was delivering it to a museum in Tennessee, they have an original one.

They wasn't best pleased, trip went like this, landed Dulles int airport, washington DC, drove down to Tennessee, all round the great smokey mountains, then to carolina, then into Alabama, then onto new orleans, then into Galveston Texas for new year, then onto Houston, the space center, heading back through Arkanses Tennessee Virginia then back to Dulles airport, loved every minute of it.Originally posted by That Ruddy Squirrel View PostI can just imagine the rental place when you got back with the mustang, eyes like them on crabs - on stalks
