The Mrs. left the drivers door mirror stuck out the other day and a passing truck found it. Mirror head got small creack in it which was sorted with superglue, but glass smashed.
Coulddnt get one from local factors or toyota same day, but a place called Unitruck in Ashton under Lyne told me to bring in the mirror backplate to have a perspex template made.
I did this and called back in a few hours to find new mirror waiting for less than £15 and £10 of this was one off to make the template
The template can be used for either side and is for 3rd gen with squared off mirrors.
So if anyone needs a new mirror glass contact them they did a super job
