Just wondering if anybody has any idea what pipe it is i have found disconnected both ends was like that, camera not working so will do my best to describe it. It is at top of radiator with a trumpet end on and was found just lurking at the rear of the right side of engine as you look at it from front at the back it is a 92 2.4td auto. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated, also while im here there is a constant beep/buzz when i turn ignition on but goes away when fired up what is this is it normal i kept checking to see if my lights was on or a door open (its the simple things that get me stumped) thankyou

How can a pipe be at the radiator and the rear right of the engine?

The buzzer is the Ignition On warning.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

could be your air con condensing pipe! post a picture if you can!

the buzz is normal when its cold you wait for the buzz to start before turning the engine over it will start better in the colder months that way it givs the glow plugs time to heat up!

                Hi Tilly,

It's the breather pipe for the air con fans, it
should be connected to the fans above the
                air con radiator.

                Gman
If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

I don't think so, that doesn't go from the front to the back of the engine, that comes up from the fans.

                    Hi mate,

We did this one a short time ago, and as far as I can see,
it's the only pipe with that type of end fitting, it may have
been pulled up to the rear of the engine bay to get it out
of the way, (it's a possibility).

BTW did you have a jolly hol?

                    Gman.
