You could be in for a whole heap of transmission problems then.

You can't (shouldn't) use 4wd on the road with a 2nd gen unless the road is covered in snow/wet mud/oil/diesel/ice, basically only if the road is very slippery.
Learn to apply the power more smoothly or put some carpet tacks in your right shoe.

p.s. i don't practise what I preach, I floored mine today pulling away from a wet junction and it wheelspinned through first and second gears!!

Okly dokly sounds like i will have to learn to drive a Rear wheel drive car all over again, the last one was a BWM 316 so this could be a large learning curve.

Gona drive the Surf like I ride the Blackbird in the Wet SLOWLY!!!

There's always the chance you hit some diesel on the roundabout, though if you have a Blackbird, you should be keeping an eye on things like that...

Silly question time, what tyres are fitted ?

If they are the original Jap tyres get em changed and then you will find the tail is a hell of a lot better behaved.

Finally remembered to get the information from the tyres and it looks like budget tyres have been fitted. They are 265/75x16 RUNWAY ENDURO AT All Terrain Tyre still plenty of tread but looks like they ait great.

Thinking about the rear end stepping out i can imaging that it being on a roundabout with I think a 2" lift and it being slightly leant over its come on boost and basically thrown me a curve ball.

However i have all ready been looking at new tyres as i want to go Green laning and i think these tyres dont look up to it.

Call me a cowboy but I really love putting the back end out (On the Surf !) but it got a lot harder to do when I got rid of the crap Jap tyres and put a set of General Grabber AT2's on ...

Life is too important to take seriously !

LOL yes getting the back end stepped out is nice when you have induced it, but the other day i did nothing and basically made me panic.
