so i sloved the scraping noise it was the ware indicators on the pads! there was still a fair bit of pad remaining but they were just catching!! so nr side done all ok, then came to offside and one of the pistons on the caliper has seized, will not budge at all is it a case of a new caliper or can they be refurbed?? as a second note one of the rubber bladder things has a hole in it will this cause problems later with mud getting in etc??

Yes the hole in the gaiter will be a problem as this will let rubbish in and will eventually cause the piston to seize up.
