Well following my rather nasty 85mph blow out on the M25 i had to replace my tyre (straightforward enough). The tyres i have on at the moment are Bridgestone "Winter Duelers" - they seem to be wider than standard 265/70/R15's as the one i had to replace looks really weedy in comparison with the others (its a Bridgestone Dueler, same size, but without the "winter" bit). I like the Winter Duelers a lot but are they ok for driving around in summer months? If not is there an all season road tyre that has the same (or similar) width of the winter duelers (with a similar kind of "chunky" tread pattern)? I've looked around on the net for some info but its either too complicated or not there. Any info appreciated!

Sizes are a guide, they rarely match the size stamped on the tyre. But if you're buying the same brand they should be the same size. More aggresive tyres with bigger lugs look bigger, cos the tread goes right over the edge.
Best bet is a set of 31" BFG, General Grabbers or Kumho in All Terrain.Surfing the building site....xx
