  • balljoint spacers

hi guys,we are thinking about producing some 2" balljoint spacers and just wanted to get the feelers as to any interest in them,we will manufacture 10 pairs at a time,so once they are gone there gone until another 10 batches are required, due to the price of materials and machining they will be around about £125 for a 2" lift.these will be of a laminated system and you can have any increment from 10mm upwards. without the need to cut the top wishbone.these should also be used in conjuction with a diff drop kit also available.we can do the whole front lift kit to include 2" balljoint lift, diff drop kit, including hardware.£180 plus vat and carriage so do we have any takers on the first ten pairs.

excuse my ignorance but what do the ball joint spacers do apart from spacing out your balljoint

basically they will give you a less severe cv angle when tweaking the torsion bars to give you more lift on the front.

I'm looking for the ball joint spacers, don't suppose you have plus 4" springs and uprated torsion bars and a nice bodylift kit too! Do the ball joints hinder the reliability of the IFS though when they are fitted?

I still want you to make my red truck into a plus ten inch monster running 38' s or 44's. So while im still saving for that i must keep my blue one going. Cant seem to keep out of the mud! ;-)
Completely bitten by the off road bug, and what better vehicle to do it in!

Wouldn't that be diff drop spacers ? Surely at any given lift height the cv angle will be the same regardless of what the top wishbone is doing ?

                            Rob.

Edit: In fact wouldn't the bj spacers give more droop as they increase the distance to the bumpstop meaning worse cv angles ?
