    To fix oil leak, one of the cam covers had been bodged with filler (bio).
    Now to find another 300 quid for the insurance next month.
    Somebody, please give me a job (that pays money)........

      What work is involved in replacing the seal?
      When I think cam cover i picture rocker cover... For £300 quid that cant be the right thing?

          Yep its the rocker cover, there is 2 of them being a v6 £30.25 each, 16 "o" rings @16 pence each, and a new cover for £90. Plus 3 hours labour @ £41 per hour, but they took all day so i saved a bit cos they had already quoted me the price and so they did not charge me any more.

            Oops! Didn't realise it's a V6. Therefore i've no odea where the o-rings go :/ I whipped my cover off, and back on again within 5 mins

            At least it's sorted and no more burning smell
