    Just been offered a permanent job four and a half days a week £55000 a year, pension and a...ahem..... Nissan terrano.



    Just means moving the family to Scotland for at least five years.
    Non intercooled nothing.

              I take it you are 'on contract' or self employed at the moment, you are probably on more than that then, and pay less tax.
              I'd stay as you are.

                          I can't stay contracting on the next phase of works. This is probably (read definitely) a way into a big organisation, with phenomanal prospects. I have pretty much been left with the keys and told toake it work ..... And it only bleedin well did !!
                          Perhaps I will take a drop in salary but the benefits far outweigh the minus points. It's been a tough year, I had no work for 8 months and things were bleak , quite a few of you are now struggling for work,money etc. All I can say is hang on in there,it comes good in the end
