  • 3rd Gen Steel Rims, Spacers needed?

    Hi,

So after a really good night out offraoding on Friday, I managed to mangle one of my alloys! It's completely unusable and will need replacing.

I am looking at replacing all my alloys with 16x7 or 8 modular steels. The ones I have found online (including @ Silverline) all have an ET0 offset. As far as I am aware, the 3rd gen has and offset of -7.

So the question I have is do I need to put spacers on to push the new wheels back out? If so, what size and where would I find them? I know roughtrax do them, but they are 30's...

    Thanks for the help!

30mm spacers are the norm ......you can get less but i haven't seen any that are greater than 30mm

Thanks for the reply, so I take it I def need them?

So am I right in saying that with the 30mm spacers on the new wheels (ET0) will stick out a 23mm further than my current ones (stock)

                              Thanks again for the replies!

Just also wanted to check, the Silverline modulars show the pcd as 140 and the 3rd gen has a pcd of 139,7

                              Is the difference ok?
