Horny Question!

Hi all,

I'd like to replace the standard horns on my Surf....well what did you think I was going to ask?!!?

Anyway....can anyone recommend a good set that gives a good quality luxury type sound, like on the old Jags etc?

No air horns thank you!

Out of curiosity, what type of sound do the Jag horns make?

They make a LOUD resonant honk. Like the Visigoths rising over the hill ready to do battle with honorio, like a swathe of lancasters, like,like...a herd of angels singing ave maria... They sound nice matt.

Not so much that, but I just can't admit to being a horn geek. If it honks/toots/parps/pips etc. it's a horn, in my book.

Mine has a volvo 240 series horn .....a good powerful sound

I neeeeed a bigger horn....was in a car park yesterday and some blind old biddy started reversing her new mini without looking in her mirror.....

....it took five weedy "parps" on my horn before she bothered to look and see what was filling her rear window.


I once did a search on here and google for horn advice......BMW 3 series horns were recommended I believe.
