Never been a huge Ford fan (apart from my Mk2 Savage Cortina), but that 'proper' Siera Cosworth was nice.

The number plate on that one is a bit suspect though?

Yep, the same as the standard Cosworth, but it had an extra lip spoiler on the tailgate and vents where the Cosworth had driving lights.
They are genuine RS500 alloys in that photo though.

XR4i had the same 2.8i Cologne V6 as the 2.8i Capri.
Cosworths had 2.0 16v turbo engines, around 100 bhp more than the XR4i.

Ahh yes thats the one. We had a saphire in white. Bit tempremental the engines weren't they? Hubby blew his up.

The early three door Cosworths had the 'picnic tray' spoiler, the later 4 door Sapphire Cosworths had a subtle boot lip spoiler.
XR4i's had a 'bi-plane' rear spoiler that supposedly increased stability in crosswinds as well as keeping the car on the ground at speed.
