Despite the banter, i think most of us realise you are more than capable of swapping the engine for a lex (and i'm certain it would be at least as neat as Vince's) So that leaves the question of where?
Is there no-one you can badger or bribe into lending you a garage???

Hi Andy,

Personally if i was to be messing about in the street with it in the cr@p weather i would personally go for a cheap 3.0 rather than messing around with engines/heads etc. I got one for 700 part ex for a breaker and tbh is a lot better than the 2.4 i had... (not opening up that can off worms tho! & ....well to a mechanical dunce like me a lot easier to fix lol).
