steering creaking

  • steering creaking

    since ive put 33's on my steering seems to creak n yes i have searched for answer but that not on full lock i know the one back wheel sticks out abit n had a word with stein about it so that will be sorted but this dam creaking as you turn any ideas plz!!

              if it squeaks on full lock then you probably have the same prob as me at the moment. its the steering stops. theyhave probably worn down like mine.
              they are just little rubber bump stops that meet against a plate on the lower arms.
              ive yet to buy some. i think you will have to order them straight from toyota. cant cost more than £1 id imagine.
              i just put some grease on it for now but it wears off after a couple of days so i juat gave up lol

                    Check steering box and idler arm..


                    Mine was playing right funny buggers a few weeks before i sold it..
