Do people not understand the point of hobbies these days? Doing something you enjoy in your spare time does not require a need or financial return. It is called a hobby for that reason. You are doing something you enjoy because you can.

If I came home and found our rather nice oak dining table grained in mint green, Vicki would have divorce papers faster than I typed this answer!

Maybe he paints bits of plywood in his shed?

            No sense of adventure.

Possibly. He may get pieces of old furniture and do them up in some way or form. Could be any number of things. Wood finishing is actually quite enjoyable. There are so many things you can do within the various finishing processes to alter the look of the piece that you can achieve an untold number of effects.

Shouldn't that be 'apicuture end product'? Keeping them on there could have been painful.

Absolutely love that stuff. Used to make my own mix. Different colours, etc. The wench doesn't like old furniture though, so I don't get chance to do anything like that these days.

Nowt wrong with that. I still have a peg rug here in the latter stages of completion. (Only been doing it on and off for around 20 years now). There's nowt wrong with doing a bit of craftwork on occasion.

Is this a p1ss take or for real? If for real, how did a curry night manage to kill them off?
