Hi all, I am going to see a 1999, 3 gen next week. The bloke who is going to have it for sale tells me it has got black leather seats. Was this ever an option with them? Personally I have never seen a leather trimmed surf but am happy to be corrected.

Not a factory option, maybe they've been re-covered? Get him to e-mail some photos before you go and see.
Leather seats are crap for off-roading anyway, your bum slides around too much. -

Whoops! Maybe shouldn't have put the words "corrected" and "leather" in the same thread. The vehicle sounds like it has been chopped in for the £2K allowance as the guy is waiting for his new car, but as its close I will have a peep. Thanks for the infoComment
