The Surf comes in handy for lobbing the planes in.

        Here's a couple of mine...

Scratchbuilt electric BN Islander in Fisheries Patrol colours. I had access to the real one for details.

Electric A-10 from kit. A bit odd to fly.

Reichard Sprinter with big brushless and lots of cells. Good for 140mph, and the most fun you can have with your pants on

My old floaty 3m. Lovely to sit on a slope with a gentle breeze and just potter about in light lift.

I wrote a few articles / had a few designs published by RCM&E a bit back. Haven't done anything for a year or so due to other things getting in the way.

must admit it was the gliders that got me into it but then did the ic thing to get my A cert .could only fly in the winter as we spend just about every week end at the caravan .we have moved the van this year and there's a club that flies on the south downs just up the road might have a chat with them and get my old sirius and nebula out again

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to enjoy the flying if I'd sunk £5k into a toy plane. You have to be able to laugh when the inevitable happens.

Don't land and you won't need it.

Pick a long runway, shut down 1 and 4 a few miles out, brake like hell and make sure the fire service are there to put out your brake fires
