Repel a cat - the forums wisedom

a local moggie is climbing up my other pride and joy (a BMW)and leaving scratch marks on the paint , any ideas how to discourage this sort of anti social behaviour....

I paid £600 a month for 15 years to allow my ex to bring up a ned. My 5 cats only cost me £10 a week. I could fix a scratched beemer every month and still be better off with the cats!

any how there is some stuff called cat repelant put some of that in to a canvers bag and stick it in your bumper that will keep the cats away
hurt a cat you brake the law and if i know about it i will report you or anyone who hurts any animal to the police

Cats that continually shit and pish on your property and cause damage are considered pests/vermin?

If you hit a dog with your car it has to be reported and if you hit a cat, too bad!

Personally I HATE them, we have dozens around us and I am continually picking up their s h i t in case the kids get it on them.

When it rains it stinks 'cos of the smelly, dirty b a s t a r d s pishing all over the grass.

One cat is NEVER good enough for people, they have to have 3, 4, 5 etc.

A lot of the Pigeon Fanciers around here kill them all the time for killing their racing birds.

To them cats are vermin!

seriously though, it doesn't need harming, it's just a few little scratches, that'll probably wax out, easy enough. Get some cat repellent, job done. Maybe people going a bit overboard with the anti-cat vibe.
